HARD ROAD HOME (Feature documentary) tells the story of Julio Medina and the Exodus Transitional Community, the agency Medina founded to help ex-prisoners re-enter life on the outside. Exodus is distinctive among reentry programs: it is run by ex-prisoners, for ex-prisoners. Broadcast nationally on the PBS series Independent Lens ,Hard Road Home brings audiences face-to-face with the challenge of returning from prison with few resources, training, or education. The Hard Road Home DVD includes resources for faith communities, equipping them to better meet the needs of the formerly incarcerated.
